What a summer! I’m back from a much-anticipated adventure to Switzerland, Germany, and France. I’ll be smiling for a long time thinking about those seven weeks filled with live music, the kids thriving at the international school’s camps, our adorable apartment that somehow stayed cool despite no air conditioning, the most enchanting location in Chexbres for our family photos, countless views of the Jet d’Eau, learning more French than I thought I could, playing hooky and taking the train to Paris for a day, weekend trips to Annecy and Chamonix, a cable car ride to see the top of Mont Blanc, two nights of The Eras Tour in Munich (plus the pure ecstasy of getting LOML as the night 2 surprise song,) and wine tasting every day at the family resort in Oberjoch. I’m going into this fall season with lots of new memories to keep me cozy.
