I’m Lauren, a portrait photographer in North Carolina’s Greater Raleigh area. I love all things peanut butter, running, and impromptu dance parties with my husband and three children. I’m a graduate of NYU and Columbia University and, prior to studying photography, I was a therapist in New York City.

If you’re anything like me, you wish you could pause and soak in each season of your family a little longer. I never want to forget the way my daughter’s nose crinkles when she belly laughs or the little curls that tickled the napes of my sons’ necks when they were toddlers. Becoming a photographer was my way of making sure I didn’t miss the opportunity to document my children’s first years. I want to help you preserve your family’s all too fleeting details, too.

I use natural light and minimal props to create images that are timeless and representative of your family’s personality. Equipped with immense patience, I’m determined to get “the shot,” but I’m also ready to catch candid moments in between your desired images. My goal is to create beautiful photos of your family that you can’t wait to frame on the walls in your home.
