What a whirlwind summer! We’re finally back home in Cary after two months in the Finger Lakes of upstate NY. My husband, three kids, and I enjoyed seeing lots of friends and family, boating on Cayuga Cake, and “hiking“ (😉) to every waterfall we could find. We spent every Friday night dancing to live music at our favorite winery and our oldest enjoyed sleep away camp for the first time. I had time to work on some personal photography projects and fall in love with my 35mm lens, which I so heroically saved from the mean waters of a creek during an ungracious slip on the riverbed rocks. Sorry, knees!
