I’m Lauren, a portrait photographer in North Carolina’s Greater Raleigh area. I love all things peanut butter, running, and impromptu dance parties with my husband and three children. I’m a graduate of NYU and Columbia University and, prior to studying photography, I was a therapist in New York City.

If you’re anything like me, you want to slow down and hold on to each season of your family’s story a little longer. I never want to forget the way my daughter’s nose crinkled when she belly laughed or my sons’ soft curls when they were toddlers. Photography became my way of preserving those fleeting details, and now it’s my joy to do the same for other families.

I work with natural light and intentionally seek out beautiful, uncluttered settings to create images that feel timeless and reflect your family’s personality. With plenty of patience and a few tricks up my sleeve, I’m committed to capturing the classic portraits you’ll treasure, while also noticing the candid, in-between moments that make your family unique.
